Computer and Instructional Teacher Education is a four year undergraduate program designed to provide students with a strong background in computer science and computer technology from an educational perspective.

The curriculum includes courses in software, hardware, database management, system design, security, and data communication. The courses are a combination of theory and laboratory practice in up to date lab facilities. The curriculum is designed to equip students with strong problem solving abilities, critical thinking abilities and skills for life long learning. Also included in the curriculum are interdisciplinary courses in science, social science and humanities.

Students will graduate with qualified teacher status. The teacher education courses emphasize student participation in problem solving, case studies and developmental work.
